Thanks Brett Favre, I didn’t know that!

“I just want to get on the field and get going — I’m 38 years old.”

“Did I wake up this morning and feel I should be at practice over there? No. I watched that scrimmage Sunday night and it didn’t seem so strange that I wasn’t out there, so maybe the writing was on the wall then.”

“Brett feels he needs to get into training camp. He’s ready to get started.”

“We’re working on it,” Favre said in video posted on Jackson TV station WJTV’s Web site. “Hopefully we can get something resolved. I’ve been saying that for quite a while now. I don’t want to say we’re running out of time, but I need to get into a camp somewhere.”

We’re at a stalemate,” Favre told ESPN Tuesday morning.

SHOCKING REVELATION IN BRETT FAVRE SAGA!

“Mike and I both agreed last night that me being out there is a distraction and will continue to be a distraction” Wow Brett. Wow. You’ve been on my TV screen non-stop for like, two months, and you and Mike McCarthy agreed last night (august 6) that you were a distraction to the team. How long did it take you guys to come up with that schocking conclusion?

Mike McCarthy: Wow, sold out crown for training camp.

Brett Favre: Yeah, looks like we got a good fan base this year.

Mike McCarthy: Yeah, could be. Or they could be here for Kabeer’s new haircut.

Brett Favre: Yeah I saw that. It looks great.

Mike McCarthy: Hey, how come they’ve got signs?

Brett Favre: “Come Back Brett” Man, that must be a lot of pressure for that kid.

Mike McCarthy: (yelling to crowd)  He’ll be back in a minute. He had to refill the cups.

Brett Favre: Poor kid. Totally snubbed for Rookie Waterboy of the Year last year.

Mike McCarthy: Hey wait. You’re last name is F-A-V-R-E, right?

Brett Favre: Uhhh, yeah. Why?

Mike McCarthy: That sign has your name on it.

Brett Favre: I reckon it does. I’ve got to get out of here. Where could I go?

Mike McCarthy:  Uhh, Tampa, the Jets?

Brett Favre: OK, sounds good.

Mike McCarthy: Brett, you are a distracting figure to this football team.

Brett Favre: Would you agree that me being out there is a distraction and will continue to be a distraction?

Mike McCarthy: Yeah sure. Get the hell out of here.

Brett Favre: All right, but don’t tell anyone.

Mike McCarthy: I swear.

Brett Favre feels unwanted???

Definitely Brett. I totally understand you feeling unwanted. I mean everyone hates you

Man, I would hate to be Brett Favre. I would hate having thousands of people showing up to watch me practice. Not actually play in a game, but practice. Man Brett, you must hate having the whole state of Wisconsin support you, even though we see your face literally every two minutes on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNNews, ESPNClassic. Heck, I think I even saw on you Telemundo the other day. It must stink to be making national headlines, while YOU’RE NOT ACTUALLY DOING ANYTHING. It’s very common to see this kind of support for your hometown quarterback. I mean, look at Rex Grossman:

“We’re at a stalemate,” Favre told ESPN on Tuesday. “So they can say they welcome me back but, come on, the way they’ve treated me tells you the truth. They don’t want me back, so let’s move on.”
